Projects
URUSHI×∞
Urushi can be applied not only to wooden products, but also to other familiar materials around us. Through exhibitions we introduce new expressions and values that can be created by combining wood and different materials, bringing "you" and urushi closer together.
Urushi Reasearch
Urushi still has much untapped potential as a material. We are exploring the possibilities in collaboration with research institutes, universities and companies.

Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi Store has launched a new shop as a base for connecting nature and people's lives under the slogan “& Nature.” We are creating a place where nature, culture, and people are organically connected, with a focus on crafts.

In addition to various types of urushi, we also sell fuki-urushi experience kits and kintsugi kits that you can do at home.
We also offer repairs, using traditional lacquer joining techniques kintsugi and urushitsugi.
